Blog description.

Accentuating the Liberal in Classical Liberal: Advocating Ascendency of the Individual & a Politick & Literature to Fight the Rise & Rise of the Tax Surveillance State. 'Illigitum non carborundum'.

Liberty and freedom are two proud words that have been executed from the political lexicon: they were frog marched and stood before a wall of blank minds, then forcibly blindfolded, and shot, with the whimpering staccato of ‘equality’ and ‘fairness’ resounding over and over. And not only did this atrocity go unreported by journalists in the mainstream media, they were in the firing squad.

The premise of this blog is simple: the Soviets thought they had equality, and welfare from cradle to grave, until the illusory free lunch of redistribution took its inevitable course, and cost them everything they had. First to go was their privacy, after that their freedom, then on being ground down to an equality of poverty only, for many of them their lives as they tried to escape a life behind the Iron Curtain. In the state-enforced common good, was found only slavery to the prison of each other's mind; instead of the caring state, they had imposed the surveillance state to keep them in line. So why are we accumulating a national debt to build the slave state again in the West? Where is the contrarian, uncomfortable literature to put the state experiment finally to rest?

Pay Down on Freedom Friday, Do This …For the Poets and the People

We are trapped in so many ways by our big brother surveillance states: by debt and tax slavery, first and foremost, by the window dressed norms forced on us by the conspiracy of the caring, chanting their hollowed out ideology that Barbra Streisand is sane on matters politick, Lucy Lawless has a clue what she’s talking about, that the state must provide health, the state must run the money supply, the state must educate our children in the ways of the state, the state must redistribute private property to rid the world of inequality, the state must think for us, the state must wipe our *#&* for us, that individuals are imbeciles not capable of looking after themselves, that you must wear that dour suit to work, don’t eat that, don’t drink that between nine and five … it goes on and on.

So strike a blow for freedom this week. When you come up against a norm, just the little ones, do the other thing, and don’t care what people think. And instead of buying that thing you thought would make you feel better this Friday, strike a blow to the fiat money system and fractional reserve banking, by paying down the mortgage instead. Give the pooch a belly rub, plant a lettuce you can feed yourself with for Christmas, take your kid to the park, get on the swing and the whirly-gig thing yourself, letting the wind rush through your hair. And stop listening to politicians; this social contract they insist you sign up to, is a strait-jacket and a leash, with a tax inspector, riot shielded policeman, and every variety of privacy busting spook and busy-body on the other end, but no one who cares: not really; it's just the routine job of going about the business of the police state to them.

Free yourself, laugh and live loosely on the surface of the Earth …
