An
Act built on cruelty to an animal is a cruel Act, no matter how noble are its aims. Such
an Act is a lack of imagination, a lack of humanity and an immorality.
The
119 MP's who voted for the principle that human recreation is more important than the
humane care of animals, stand under cold laboratory fluorescents, in a pool of pain, condemned. Write to your MP, write to Minister McClay: don’t let them
off the cruel butchers hooks they legislated last Thursday.
This
is not a public health issue: it’s about torturing animals merely for adult humans choosing to take party pills,
nothing more. The 119 should be ashamed.
