And it's only when you're the one paying the tax, that you realise there is no such thing as free health, education, etc, just incentives turned on their head (and therefore morality). Someone has to pay the price. I use the below quote so often, but like this poster it's just so good:
'The Soviets thought they had free health-care, but it ended costing them everything they had.'
